The families of teenagers lost after a devastating inferno at a establishment in a Swiss ski resort are confronting an excruciating wait for confirmed information and requesting any details about their children via social media.

The blaze engulfed the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of New Year's Day. Verified images depict the ceiling catching alight as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
