Curtis Jones has shared that Salah said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his televised remarks.

“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”

He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
He also noted that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I understand there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
