Soccer Expert Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by the Black Cats prior to the international break, however can the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, readers and a range of special visitors.
In week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is out on Friday.

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a benefit game the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "The side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not force football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend football team," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be quite tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their previous couple games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they appear competitive again.
The Hammers' sole away victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their manager Nuno was previously Forest coach.
So, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were seen as one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign began, but they have surprised a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four games.
My son advised me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the road this term, and Brighton are always decent at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone battle.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not going to choose that. Instead, I really need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be absolutely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough fixture to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
